Christmas Makers Market
It all started in 1991. Anderson's Hitch 'n Post Ranch hosted the very first Hitch 'n Post Craft Sale. Always held on the first full weekend in November, for almost 20 years the event became an annual tradition for Manitobans to kick off the holiday season. Guests would travel from all over to enjoy handmade treasures, the popular lunch counter, Christmas lights and the fragrant welcome of wood burning stoves. The feeling was like no other which is why parked vehicles would line not only Ridge Road but also Highway 6.
For a memorable ride out to the Ranch, chartered buses can be arranged or even a vintage 1800's steam train. The Prairie Dog Central Train is a great way to see the beautiful countryside and you never know what may happen on your journey to the Ranch, you may just get held up from a gun toting posse!! Just hope it's not you that gets arrested and thrown in the Hitch 'n Post hoosegow!!
Anderson's Hitch 'n Post Ranch knows a little something about weddings. Since 1984 they have been one of Manitoba's premier locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 400 people.
